If you're 62 or older now or will be by the end of 2024,
this is a great opportunity!
Be sure to apply soon so your tax bill can be locked in at the 2024 rate. The Collection Department is actively reviewing applications and will share acceptance news with everyone in December. Don’t miss out! If you apply & are eligible for the Senior Tax Credit program in 2024, this sets your “frozen” amount going forward. As long as you continue to live in your home, the tax bill for all future years will reflect a credit amount that reduces your bill to that “frozen” 2024 amount. The year of application/eligibility determines the base tax year amount. Credits appear in the years following.
